True to its name, Colossal Cave is one of the largest cave systems in the southwestern United States. Expect a fascinating day of history, geology and storytelling as you travel along a half-mile guided path through the cave on this 45-60 minute excursion. Be sure to bring a camera to capture all the impressive rock formations and snap a few lasting memories to show your friends and family. The cave tour is a part of the larger Colossal Cave Mountain Park, which also includes two museums, a horseback riding trail, picnic facilities and more.
Montezuma Castle National Monument
Marvel at one of the best-preserved cliff-dwellings in the United States. This 5-story "apartment" carved into the side of the Verde Valley cliff wall was created by the Pre-Columbian Sinagua people, northern cousins of Arizona's famous Hohokams. Today, the structure is a preserved national monument. Visitors may walk a one-third mile loop past the structure and through a beautiful sycamore grove. Daily guided programs are also available.

Step 130 years back in to the Old West at Rawhide Western Town and Steakhouse. This family theme park is styled after an 1880's Western town, complete with saloon, hitching posts and town jail. The park is admission-free (you pay for select attractions), with fun attractions including a cowboy stunt show, desert train, burro rides, mechanical bull, rock climbing and more. In the evenings, Rawhide Western Steakhouse offers a generous menu of cowboy favorites.

The Grand Canyon is approximately a five-hour drive our resort in Phoenix, AZ. Take Interstate 17 north to Flagstaff. From there, take Route 180 northwest to the Grand Canyon National Park.
A former mining town on the side of Cleopatra Hill known today for its interesting history and the eccentric personalities of the locals. Jerome has a reputation as a "ghost town", due to the large number of abandoned buildings from the 1800's. Visitors will enjoy the large mining museum as well.
Located about 90 miles outside of Phoenix, Jerome is a rewarding day-trip to enjoy on your Phoenix, AZ vacation. To drive to Jerome, head north on Highway 17 and exit 89A from Sedona.
